FORGE [Branding]
Devoted to being The Church, the Forge is a training ground where faith is put into action on a daily basis. It’s vision is to equip Christian believers in a holistic lifestyle through discipleship and life-skill training. Creating a culture founded on a daily choice to live; school, work, finances, and relationships, through an intentional faith-walk; the Forge, is an organic community where what they “do” becomes an extension of who they are, and who they are is rooted in a daily relationship with God.
Logo Variations:
Using simple forms the mark is created from traditional tribal icons. The layers of lines represent structure and the idea of inward growth. The marks motion conveys a since of purpose and speaks to the transformational change of the whole person (mind, body, and spirit). The icon itself could be a steeple or a bird finding it’s wings; either way, it remains “spiritual” without using typical Christian iconography. Similar to an army badge there is a since of accomplishment in the strength and outline style of the mark. It is representative of a group of people coming together. Displaying the continual process of life and faith becoming one. Symbolic of a healthy, holistic individual.

Stationery & Leave Behind Card:
There are times where clients cannot afford a custom website design. Instead, we work with them to find a web template that further establishes their brand as a more cost-effect solution. By starting with a preexisting template it allows us to cut programming and design time in half and provides a foundation on which to build a somewhat custom site. With a little bit of programming and client-guidance we we’re able to help them customize their site to meet their initial needs and develop a platform that they can continue to grow from.

MIDWESTMEDIA [Branding]
MIDWESTMEDIA is an accomplished full-service marketing and public relations company located in Oklahoma City. With a history of specializing in branding, video production and public relations MIDWESTMEDIA was ready to expand their talented portfolio and branch into graphic design and website development. After an evaluation of their 5 year history it was time for MIDWESTMEDIA to update their brand in a way that related more personally to their future goals and objectives.
Old. vs. New Logo
Their newly remolded office provided a modern white aesthetic with simple, clean, lines as a great place to start. The breakdown of the full circles into 1/4 circles connects elements of the old mark while adding a fresh perspective and simplicity to the new icon. By placing the “M” & “W” next to each other the mark seems to rotate as your eye moves through the individual pieces and relates to MIDWESTMEDIA‘s unique process for project management and creativity.

Oklahoma Sustainability Network [Campaign]
“The Bring It Home initiative was developed by the Oklahoma Sustainability Network (OSN) and the Phillips Murrah-C.H. Guernsey team to assist interested Oklahoma communities in the adoption of sustainable residential building codes that will reduce energy consumption, decrease costs and have a long-term impact on the environment and economy.” - OSN (Oklahoma Sustainability Network).
Conceptual Process:
Instead of the typical icons associated with the sustainable movement we designed a brand that is much more subtle in it’s approach. Not only does the logo expand outward but from top to bottom as it signifies layers of hard work and determination. Oklahoma was founded on an understanding and preservation of the land and it’s natural resources. It’s time we come full circle and continue the legacy handed down through our heritage. It’s time we Bring It Home and we truly supply Oklahoma with the resources and the means to build a sustainable Oklahoma. In the end the campaign brand is simply about doing the right thing and knowing that what is best for our families is ultimately the best for the state of Oklahoma. The brand speaks directly to the campaign goals by displaying the end result; a brighter future for Oklahoma.
Stationery & Brochure:
The initial inside panel uses numbers to directly relate project goals and objectives to each benefit associated with the code adoption. This same numbering system is used for architectural plans/documentation to highlight details and pull-out further instructions for the builder.
Custom Presentation Folder:
Looking for a folder to accommodate large document presentations a custom die was created to fit the clients needs. The front is straight forward and displays the logo, clean and simple; while the back side snugly accommodates a DVD, business card and up to 70 sheets of letterhead. The backside pocket is a custom cut reflecting the same curve in the logo and overall brand design. The entire folder is printed on high quality recycled paper along with the brochure and letterhead.

Custom Bed Design
Built entirely of oak with a dark cherry walnut custom stain, the headboard is canted at 20 degrees to allow a gentle recline while reading at night. Hand crafted this headboard and platform took two weeks, but yielded a beautiful result.
Living Water Dance Company [Branding]
The simple lines play off of Living Water’s modern dance style while creating a since of movement and motion from the curves. The open vessel represents the constant flow and giving of God’s Living Water alongside the outpouring of that gift by the individual.

Tiny Tufa Pots
Tufa is a man made replica of tufa rock, a highly porous rock that has been used historically to make pots for plants. Tufa has a wonderful concrete aesthetic with half the weight and has wonderful absorptive properties allowing the pot to absorb any excess water and re-release it into the soil over time, helping to cut down on watering. We’ve developed our own designer tufa molds and love to create little 2, 3, and 4″ pots, each with it’s own little succulent nestled inside.
